Jio True 5G coverage now 100% in Gujarat: Details inside

Jio 5G was launched in October this year. Now, Jio's True 5G network is being rolled out in all 33 district headquarters in Gujarat, making it the first state in India to have 100% coverage of its True 5G network.

Jio 5G was launched in October this year. Now, Jio's True 5G network is being rolled out in all 33 district headquarters in Gujarat, making it the first state in India to have 100% coverage of its True 5G network.


Reliance said in announcing the rollout that Gujarat holds a special place as Reliance's Janmabhoomi. Gujarat and its people deserve this strategic announcement.


Starting 25th November, Jio customers in Gujarat will receive the Jio Welcome Offer, which is free and offers Unlimited Data up to 1Gbps+.
In Gujarat, Jio will also launch several Jio True 5G-powered initiatives across sectors like education, healthcare, agriculture, and IOT.

Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited Chairman Akash M Ambani said, "We are proud to share that Gujarat is now the first state to have 100% district headquarters connected to our True 5G network." A billion lives can be impacted by this technology if we showcase its real power.

Additionally, the company's largest telecom operator announced 'Education-For-All' as a 5G-powered initiative. In a partnership with Jio, the Reliance Foundation aims to digitize 100 schools in Gujarat. Schools will be able to connect with:


1. JioTrue5G connectivity

2. Advanced Content Platform

3. Teacher & Student Collaboration Platform

4. School Management Platform


According to the company, Jio True 5G has three benefits over other 5G services offered by other telecom companies in the country:

  1. The first. Stand-alone 5G architecture with advanced 5G network that is independent of 4G

  2. The second. The largest spectrum mix of 700 MHz, 3500 MHz, and 26 GHz for 5G

  3. The third point. An advanced technology called Carrier Aggregation seamlessly combines these 5G frequencies into a single robust "data highway"

Currently, only Jio and Airtel offer 5G network services in India. For eligible users, Jio has announced a free 5G Welcome Offer.


How to get Jio 5G invite?

A Jio customer's number must be registered with the company in order to receive an invitation to use the company's 5G network. Jio will decide if a number is eligible for Jio True 5G after registering it


How much will Jio 5G cost?

Prices will be pocket-friendly so that everyone can take advantage of the network's benefits. Depending on your internet usage, the Jio 5G Price List is expected to start at Rs.249/- and go as high as Rs.2500/-.
